Introduction
JET-HOT develops, produces and applies a variety of coatings.
Properties of the various coatings include insulation,
corrosion resistance , abrasion and impact
resistance as well as lubricity. All are
applied at
our factory through a meticulous, multi-step process including: thermal
degreasing, abrasive-blast stripping with virgin aluminum oxide,
double-coating (inside and out on headers), high temperature curing,
custom packaging for return shipping, and quality-assurance controls
during every phase of the procedure.
Our coatings fall into the following groups: |

JET-HOT Sterling
As the name implies JET-HOT Sterling
contains silver powder. This metal gives JET-HOT Sterling
an improved shine without compromising on
corrosion protection.
Sterling shines with the best look yet in high-temp, high
tech coatings. JET-HOT Sterling provides lasting beauty.
of nickel. Other metallic-ceramic coatings look dull in
comparison. The RMS numbers (a measure of smoothness)
demonstrate
how far JET-HOT has jumped ahead of other coatings. With the
addition of silver powder to our exclusive formula, we have
beautified our coatings by a factor of six on the RMS scale
while improving performance.

JET-HOTs Hi-Lustre
Similar to Sterling but will hold its shine up to 1,400°F
and will protect parts up to 1,700°F. This coating insulates
slightly better than sterling and is semi-textured. (Made
from our MC-15 formula.)
When applied to Headers JET-HOT
boosts power,
inhibits thermal fatigue,
reduces engine temperature, looks better and lasts longer than other
header coatings. |

JET-HOT 2000
JET-HOT 2000 is a
coating that can withstand high temperatures over 1094C.
This is a very high corrosion resistant coating, making
it a very good coating for use on Turbo Housings, Turbo
Manifolds, F1 race car exhaust and other Hi-Temp
applications. The colour is Black.
(This coating cannot be used on alloy parts.)

Black is similar to Sterling but will hold its finish up to 1,400°F
and will protect parts up to 1,700°F.
When applied to Headers JET-HOT
boosts power,
inhibits thermal fatigue,
reduces engine temperature, looks better and lasts longer than other
header coatings.

JET-HOT HI-TEMP
Black
is formulated to withstand temperatures up to 843C. This
means it is a good coating for Hi-Temp applications like
Turbo Manifolds. (special conditions apply)

JET-HOT
1003
JET-HOT
1003 is a good
coating for use in industrial and other applications
where looks don't matter. This coating has a high
corrosion rating and is a good thermal barrier. It has a
brown appearance.

JET-HOT TDC
On oil pans JET-HOT's
TDC reduces oil temperature by increasing the heat
exchange surface. Temperature rating is 704C (1,300F).
Typical application:
alloy housings, boiler parts, exhaust manifolds, oil pan
(sump).
(Area to be left uncoated can be masked off if
necessary and the above coatings are not limited to these
applications alone.)

JET-HOT LFC
JET-HOT LFC even provides protection
against friction when oil isn't present, extending engine
parts life. It has a load carrying capacity of 150,00 psi.
and a coefficients of friction as low as 0.019 (dry)
that's lower than steel on ice. When JET-HOT
LFC is applied to piston skirts, valve stems
and other components it reduces friction between moving
parts in extreme conditions. Other Components like camshaft,
valve train parts, diff gears and gear parts
can benefit from JET-HOT LFC.

JET-HOT TBC
JET-HOT TBC applied to the top of
pistons will increase combustion temperature, because of
the ceramic nature of the coating, it acts like a thermal
barrier, reducing the amount of heat lost into the piston.
This gives a higher compression temperature producing
more power and better fuel efficiency. Reducing the
temperature to the top of the piston will allow cooler
running pistons, rings, and water, maintaining ring
tension leading to higher compression and lower oil
consumption over a wider operating range.
